Hi and good morning! It’s cool and overcast but still dry. I’m not sure how cool it was overnight but I finally remembered to bring my Christmas cacti and night blooming cereus inside for the winter. Silly cacti are budded up starting to bloom, I guess they’re Halloween cacti now!

Took a wonderful nap to the sound of pouring rain and occasional thunder. Woke up to intermittent sunshine.

I put a cheap tarp over the new half of the run. It's blue, so it's significantly darker in there now, but I hope it stays drier come winter. The old half of the run is nice and bright. Maybe I'll rename that part "the atrium."

Tea is ready, have a cup, sit awhile, and chat.

I've been out of sorts for a couple of days.

Tuesday I worked outside making window frames for my coop.

Didn't quite finish them, although I will work on them this weekend.

Wednesday I spent in town delivering eggs, having my nails done and grocery shopping.

Thursday I spent the day with my husband at the ER with severe back pain related to the fall he had on Saturday.

He had a CT scan with negative results for fractures.

I feel like he had a peak with the pain and now he should have less pain and begin to have less and less pain.

I feel like I'm back on track.

Sorry to hear you had to spend time in the er! I hope your DH is continuing to feel better.
