I cooked in a cast iron skillet for the first time today. It's my new "favorite pan." It was a Lodge brand, so pre-seasoned.

I had to tell myself to "mitt up" every time I stirred the veg I was stir frying. None of my other pans get hot handles on the stove.

Gotta love that cast iron! 90% of the time I cook on those. You should avoid cooking tomatoes in cast iron because it'll strip off your seasoning. If you do, just reseason it.
