The Welsummer weighed very little. She had always been a little slow or calm as I wanted to think. A couple times I saw her walking backwards. Then once or twice I think stargazing, which I gave her vitamins for but never saw her do it again. The darker one is the brown leghorn. I got them from a family who got them from Cackle.
I’d forgotten about the video I’d taken the day before she went to the vet. She was a very sweet hen, beautiful speckled eggs and I miss her!

Thanks George. I hope you are doing well today. I made a quick trip to my favorite little discount store. I found out they have Senior hours on Tuesday and Thursday. It was nice going into something other than a grocery store. I got things for the garden. This store has never really been crowded before this pandemic and it was fairly empty today, so that was nice. I'm looking forward to spending some time outside this afternoon. The sun actually came out.

I've heard 'senior hours' at some places are packed with people.

DH and I avoid the senior hours because the parking lot is hazardous. Guilty as charged, my parking skills diminished considerably at Age 60.

Good morning @aart. Senior hours in the few stores I've been in are pretty empty. I don't think our senior "population" is all that high around here so perhaps that's why it's not so crowded.

I have a rear view back up camera so I'm ok to park. Fortunately my driving skills are still pretty good. However, not so good pushing them shopping carts around. I picked up a large bowl of pansies for the yard and also another wind chime and a buddha. I'll be spending some time outside this afternoon doing a little yard work while I'm hanging with the chickens.
