Coffee Club

[Sequel]

We're incrementally ramping up to summer oven with temps to hit 100 by Tuesday. Sadly, we're getting all the smoke from the AZ fires that are burning. Beautiful dark red sunrises, but the air is so laden with smoke that the mountain view is obscured and watering the garden produces itchy eyes. Dogs want no part of going outside.

Oh I know what that’s like! A few years ago there were so many fires burning in Canada our air was terrible, in a clear day the sun was just a red spot. Eerily beautiful in its way but oh man I think the whole state got the effects of 5 years of smoking cigarettes in a week or two. I can’t remember how long that went on but it was awful!

It’s 3:20 pm and I’m sitting here with a cup of reheated coffee. I may pay for it later but I love it. Making potato salad for the weekend. It’s just me and DH for Father’s Day, DS and family are having a vacation on the Oregon Coast. I have to share a pic of grandkids 3 and 10 playing in the water.

Great photo we are both home no grandkids between him and me I have 2 from the daughter I raised in Juneau .. The Son here is 37 he and I bought the house together 6 years ago

I have seen days in Nova Scotia where the air was almost yellowish green from forest fires to the west.

We had the field that had been empty since we moved here other side of the road .. Tree farm other side finally cleared it made piles started burning about killed me .. ended up with pneumonia.. He did finally stop burning till late fall

Yes! It was yellow green on the horizon and murky blue gray close by. I took pics down at the marina next door which illustrated it really well but those pics are in my old phone.

I has gotten to 80 here but we do not fight with the humidity you do Cap
That is a non starter here temp is acurate 72 inside so far

Anyone else want some coffee ? I am caffeine deprived. Would not enter the club house for a coffee - even brought my own lunch today. Two more days to go.
