I checked at midday and found Barking Bracket (aka Miss Neurological) chunterinng away to her chicks under a bush. I slip my hand under and lift a bit and there are only six pairs of junior legs! "Where's your other chick Bracket" I asked her. She may as well have said what other chick?
It took me half an hour to find it. She had left it in the donkey shed. Got the chick, took it took Bracket, not a bit of surprise, or concern on Brackets face.
Anyway 4 chicks went in the coop with Bracket tonight, but only just.
Bracket also needs to learn that when she takes cover she shouldn't leave her bum hanging out.

Good morning Clubbers yes rolled out a bit late got the last of shad's paint thinner but still needed one from Dobie good to see all makes me feel warm and snugly to see everyone here... I will do my darndest to not have this overrun by gnats .. My goals a place to talk of what we want, have some coffee post a few photos .. The two that I bought at auction are the only two not afraid of Blue Marans cockerel run out of the main coop by Red my EE that is 5 months older.. The speckled sussex are sure the devil himself invaded .. I will get new photos of him in there today

Hey Shad I stuck 8 eggs to hatch in Silkie coop they buried 4 sitting on 4
waiting as 3 eggs came a week later actually put them under a different silkie
Who only sits on the two eggs layed by silkie that are not broody

Having on of my home made English muffins for breakfast anyone want on cheese of many flavors and butter to go with they say it happens in three percolator died two days ago .. New one ordered old stove top style in use .. We buy a starbucks instant for the first cup here use a hot water pot guess what croaked this morning, the hot water pot
