He's adorable penny, I would "play down" the pug part - don't want to upset Sour. By the way our last Cocker- my mother demanded to name. She said she never got to name any of my dogs. I never knew she wanted to. She wasn't fond of them.

He had a red face so she said - he looked like a little bull, therefore she named him "PUGGY,'

Well my little blue copper has survived the night. I gave her some sublingual B-vitamins this morning and she's eating like a piglet again. She actually showed interest in meal worms last night (finally) and was drinking water out of a shot glass. I set her up in a larger box under the heat lamp, and she seem content. She always tries to get up when I enter the room, but is a wobbly little mess. She can stand when I support her breast, so improvement is ongoing. She could have eaten any one number of items out in the new hoop coop as it is on bare ground, and up until last year was a jungle. Hopefully if it was a bb she's passed it, or a bacteria she's passing it. So many things can imitate mereks, but the remainder of the chicks in that coop are healthy and happy, so she's either been injured by falling off the roost or had something going on gut wise.
