Haha! Hanging the pillows and vacuuming the closets says to me she’s been through a mice or rat infestation or two! No fun either way!
My in laws weren’t that obsessive. They just had nice furniture and nothing else. No books, no sewing projects nothing indicating anyone was interested in anything. They sat on the furniture with their feet on the floor and watched tv.
I never thought of a history of mice. Hmmm. I can not imagine being a mushroom- just sit there and vegetate all day. My husband's ex wife was like that. We could not discuss any hobbies or interests- she didn't have any. We always had some project or another going. I still do. Had a list of things I would do when I retired- two years in, I haven't touched the list yet. I did clean out my book collection though- both myself and my husband were avid readers (I still am). I kept a shelf of special books, and donated the rest. I LOVE my Kindle - I don't have to dust around the books now. Used to do counted cross stitch- but it is hard with two dogs in my lap. Right now, I am clearing out my recipes and putting them on the computer, saving the special ones written by family or friends who are no longer here, and trashing the rest. One day, I will get to digitalizing my pictures.

Busy! Busy! I like hard copy. Tried kindle and went back to solid page turning.
I lost interest in almost everything when hubby passed in 2014. Started to perk up after a yr, lost interest in life when son died in 2016. Finally, starting to enjoy life again, but my perspective on life has changed.
Enjoy your day. Find something beautiful in everyday (it does keep you positive).

Life is good

Condolences. Starting with chickens got me off the couch a year after my son died.

My condolences to you. That is a quite a loss in a short time.

Every day should hold the best of positivity.

Good day one and all!

Water, tea, and condiments are ready.

Have a great day!
Thanks! Baking Eggless cupcakes, gdaughter thats 2 is allergic. When testing her, dr rubbed whole uncracked egg on her back, within 2 minutes, spot on back was red, hives, and she was trying to scratch. Daughter had hives and itched while pregnant-now we know why.

Good morning! Nice to see everyone! I like the feel and smell of actual books. My small house has piles of them, I was a frequent flyer at the library until Covid. They are open now and have a minimum 90 hour turn around time but I just haven’t wanted to handle library books yet. In the back of my mind I always thought they were gross but Being able to read so much and not accumulate another stack was too appealing.
