Hey there glad you stopped by. Asked you what the heck is Hoppin John and how do you make it ?

Make black eye peas and make rice. Brown ground meat OR chop cooked ham.Sauté onion and bell peppers with garlic in butter. Add meat, rice, peas with the water it was cooked in. I add mushroom or brown gravy. Bring to a boil and then cover and simmer until most of the fluid is absorbed. Eat with cornbread.

Oh ok well I do that making dirty rice add beef or chicken or pork corn peas carrots no mushrooms here allergic but make great gravies

I saw an article today about Michigan having a covid spike. It said most of the infections are the UK strain and coming from school age children-- mostly from sporting events.
