Finally winter weather here - thankfully without the snow. It is bright, brisk, and in the teens.

Yes, the winter without the snow is good. The temp is getting there, we are up to 38-it still feels colder than that.

G'Day Y'all...that should cover everyone.

Didn't get quite as cold as predicted, only about 10°F.
Birds all seem fine, left them in the coop for now.

And we got colder than predicted. -2F instead of 6.
I posted on the poopsicle I found in the coop this morning.

Does the poop freeze to your boards in this weather? It does mine. I use a 7-in-one painter's tool (I guess mine is an 8-in-one) and sometimes a hammer along with it to chisel it off before scooping it out.

Hey Cap had seahorses in Juneau when I had my big monster tank they are cool to watch have to be sure to watch the fish so they don't kill them

Good afternoon to everyone in the club this morning
Had to take papers to town the cole creek auction they paid me for my boys... Had left paper at home but they gave me credit works ... bought 4 hens that day ......
They are laying already a bonus in my book

Cold and dreary day here, wind was wicked cold.
Birds stayed inside most the day, I gave them a flake of compressed alfalfa, that kept them amused and busy.
