The tanks are being pumped just a bit slower according to our news. We have no shortage out here yet ..

DH canceled his vacation for next week. FIL called from Charlotte, NC, and said they are having a hard time finding gas. Really don't want to get stranded down there. Plus, our dog, Mara, is still having issues with diarrhea.

I guess staying home is really the only prudent thing to do. When DH goes down there, it'll be by himself. This was really the last week I could manage to go. We didn't want to be on the road on Memorial Day weekend, and my chicks are coming in June. Date still TBD, but I have to be ready for them to come.

Love the pictures, @GrandmaDeKorte! See everyone else's chicks is getting me through till mine come.

I am sorry you will miss the trip!

It will be exciting to get the chick order though.

Good morning! up at 4, gave the new chicks fresh water, made coffee, and the dogs got up. They went out, we have very thick fog this morning, and the dogs actually ate their breakfast before 9,
So now for Grandma to have her coffee.
