Sorry I am late! I got busy printing stuff, then cut Tony's toe nails, vacuumed the house (the floors), took fresh feed to the coop and scooped under the roosts, on and off rain, so the chicks dont get to go to visit the coop today.
HOLY COW its almost time to start supper

I take that back, the Browns are running a muck, so outside we will go for a bit.

When I got my brown leghorn I meant to get three, but I ended up getting a Welsummer and an Easter egger and only one brown. I was really glad at the time because she really raised hell for a while there during her teenage time. :gigHaving said that I love her dearly, she is my prettiest and smartest bird!

I’m having an afternoon cup. The wind took out a maple which took out our power line, it sure is boring when the power is out! I’m doing the “since the Internet is out maybe I’ll vacuum...” doh!
I hope the power line is fixed soon!

Yes it is! We were tempted to cut down the rest of the naughty maples while the line was down but that would have caused trouble. DH is on the phone now to get the landline back up. It got taken out too! I was hoping it didn’t go overnight because I fed my starter and need to start bread tonight.

That happens a lot over there,

It does! These are actually suckers that have grown up from maple stumps cut years ago. They are very unstable, nasty things that we should have literally nipped in the Bud. Every couple of years one falls and takes out the power line, phone line and used to be the cable line but they moved that one. Everything is back except the landline which we really could do without.

Got a pecan tree growing from a stump- are you saying that it will probably be unstable? If so, guess I should cut it back.😕
