Adults here right?
If I ever get my hands on my childhood home, which is very unlikely, I'll level it.
No, I didn't have a terrible childhood; far from it. I've been fortunate in having a compassion and understanding for most other species but after that, I have no features that benefit my own species. Not even sure if that's a bad thing.:p
Thanks to the mother of my daughters who is my best friend, my daughters have fared rather better and are essentially good people. That will do me.:)
Well, we all have our own way. That's pretty awesome that you're best friends with your kids mother. Not a lot of people can say that. Honestly, I've never heard anyone say that. My parents certainly weren't like that.

I can't say I've got any huge attachment to my childhood home. We lived in a trailer house until I was about 7-8 and dad built us a new house in the front yard. I lived there until I was 13 and my parents got divorced. Someone needed to take care of Mama, so that's where I spent most of my time. I'm attached to that house because it's my dads, but mostly to the yard/trees/property and not the house itself.

I would be appalled to see it in disrepair or abandoned, though. That would be heartbreaking. So...maybe more attached that I originally thought :p

Don't mind me. Feeling ramble-y today.

The farm I grew up on is all gone the 160 acres and the 2 dedicated to the house they put up condos on one side of the road other side they built basic three bedroom ranch homes
The farm I spent my childhood and later worked on has gone as well. Four very posh houses took care of that.

Others have said that's unusual. I've always like her. I've known her 45 years.

I loved my Uncles farm; he wasn't bad either.:)
I went and had a look around a couple of years ago when I was in the UK. One plot is still much the same. A rock musician bought it and think he's too stoned to get out there and do anything with it.:D

Was he the uncle with the cattle? That would be pretty interesting, expecting change and not seeing much change at all. Bit of a blast from the past
