Same with me, Bobbi. I had very bad baby teeth. I don't know if it was from having thrush as a toddler or from tetracycline but all of my baby teeth came in bad. I can still remember being about 6 or 7 and the doctor working on my teeth without anesthetic using those old pulley powered drills that felt like jack hammers on your teeth. Naturally I was climbing out of the chair and the dentist was yelling at me to hold still so he could get done. Never asked me if it hurt and I was just a little kid. I hated dentists until fate found me with very bad teeth and having to have a dentist. The man was as big as a bear with a jolly disposition, and as gentle as a lamb. I enjoyed going to see him and he never hurt me. He died in his mid 40s from throat cancer but he cured me of my fear of dentists.

Two sets of braces later, we're doing better
Could eat an apple through a picket fence, but these babies are strong
from that visual. Thanks, Meg, I needed that!
