We have mud. I woke up to discover it was raining on top of the almost gone snow. The dogs went out and decided to hit the field for some morning carnage in the form of vole hunting and came back in tracking mud everywhere. When it's dark and the dogs want out at 4 AM who turns on the lights to let them back in when they are scratching at the door at 5? Not us. They went back out at 7 when I got up and just came back in....covered in mud. They are drying out in the hobby room and in the mean time we are scrubbing up mud off of our vinyl laminate plank flooring. I'm heading out with a shedding brush to strip about 10 pounds of Missouri Gumbo off of their silly hides.
We are on the third go over and still seeing muddy footprints. This Missouri clay is tenacious.
Thanks for the recipe, @penny1960. I may try it this afternoon when I get done cleaning and working on the latest home project.
