Good morning, CC. Thanks for the coffee, Shad. I hear ya on the chicken chat.
Here's some! My flock has spring fever! They have been avoiding the snow for the most part this winter but it was sunny and warm yesterday, hitting near 40F. There were tracks all over the snow leading to the grassy areas that had been exposed by the warmer temps. They had a grand time yesterday.
Everyone marched right out this morning without much delay to get a bite to eat first. As I was cleaning the boards, I looked out the window to see Draco (my 7 pound Delaware) and Missy digging around in the empty flower window box.

morning all - thanks for the coffee Shad.

We have bright sunshine for a change :) and one of my wellies has finally decided to lay in a nest box instead of under a hedge/shrub/old oil tank etc. :bow Long may it continue :fl

My ISA Browns have been laying in their nests, This morning I was out in the run and found an egg in the crock that's on its side. It was from yesterday.

Good morning Clubbers Thanks Shad got mine now made another good and strong
Chicken chat okay they gave Ron the Easter hatch a long so watching it may go ahead and hatch like 3 my incubator has a due date 7th or 8th

Much to my surprise I made it to 65 years old today.
As a birthday treat I got The Wind today. Only a few gusts.
Gust one ripped the side door off the kitchen of the main house and sent a flower pot through one of the kitchen windows.
Gust two blew in through the window and 'rearranged' the main house kitchen.
A few more gusts and then one swept across the front of the house a blew over a chicken coop. Thankfully there were no chickens in it but there were a few eggs in one of the next box which are now spread over the ceiling.
After launching a few more flower pots, chairs, assorted bits of wood and a rubbish bin the wind went off to do damage elsewhere.
