Had an eye appointment today. Found out I have to have surgery on both eyes for cataracts. The cataracts I have can close off at any time and I won't be able to see. So it has to be done. I am the caregiver in this house.

eye surgery is no fun, but it has come a long way in recent years. It will be over before you know it ! Our daughter had it done and it took about an hour, but I can't remember if it was one eye or both.

DH had cataract surgery and was over the moon! He didn’t realize how much color vision he’d lost. He stood outside and said “Look at all the different greens!” It was one of the best things he ever did and also the most pain free! I hope your surgery is as easy and that your quality of life is improved as a result!

I had one eye done several years ago with little to no incident. The right eye is now due, but I'll wait until the Princess gets both of hers done.
