OK ya'll, took a nap yesterday morning- unintentional- before I got out to feed the chickens. Got a gander at myself on the security camera. Oh Lord- Granny Grunt!! There I was, in my gown, a house coat and sweater, christmas socks and crocks, hair all over the place. Glad no one was there to see that. Gonna be cool but nice I think today. May go out and clean the patio later. Hot coffee particularly satisfying this AM. Just having scrambled eggs and bacon with it.

Yep....well, they'd come out but I've found it works best to keep part of the run clear of snow to avoid ice pack. A thin layer of straw or shavings will help them acclimate to the snow.
