We ended up with about 18" of light fluffy stuff. It warmed up enough that it is settling and compacting. Neighbor plowed us out this morning, and I have cleared the front sidewalk, 3/4 of the parking area and access to the deck. The Princess's car is cleared, and she has been to the post office. I'll free up my truck tomorrow. Snowplow took out our mailbox so that will be my next project.

I found on freshly fallen snow that a leaf blower is a non-exertion effective option for clearing. DH threw his already-fragile back out shoveling, so improvised and discovered a winter application for the device.

Wow I have not had to deal with snow in lot's of years back in college .. Came back here after I graduated so not snow till I moved to Juneau in early 85

Coffee is ready. Today, I need to have the ride mower hawled to the shop and given the once over and blades sharpened and battery replaced. Spring is coming down the road and the weeds already could use mowed.

Good morning Bycers- called the garbage service because they did not empty the household waste container(didn't take neighbors across the street either). Woman said the driver was there but no garbage out ( horse hockey!!!) She told me if the driver comes back to get it, they will charge me $ 10.
