Re: bacon. I’ve cooked in microwave with success but can’t make huge batches. Microwave safe plate, a couple of paper towels, place 5 to 6 slices depending on how big the plate and bacon is, cover with another couple pieces paper towels. Nuke for 3.5 to 4.5 minutes. Keep a close eye, your microwave may run hotter or colder than mine. But the bacon comes out crispy and I only have to clean up the plate and inside microwave. I use vinegar, dawn, lemon, water mix to clean up.

Morning ya'll. Coffee brewing. I take milk and sugar, please. Today is cool and overcast. Just feels like a stay in the house in a sweater day. Was thinking of making rolls today, but with the humidity up, maybe later on. Think I will have that oatmeal with cranberries and walnuts this morning.

Good morning! I’m always late! :gig Sunny frosty morning, typical March I suppose but it’s really too close to April for this nonsense! I think I’ll take my mug to Florida and sit on @ladies-Eight‘s porch.

Come on down the weather is beautiful!

In another two months the humidity will be so high you can't sit outside.

never tried microwave--will do next time I need a smaller amount

I haven't had a microwave in 25 years. Don't want one, either. I know they're handy, but I don't want to give up the counter space. I know they can go above the stove too, but I don't want to give up the vertical space there. So I remain happily microwaveless.
