How long did it ferment? Doesn't JD age for like a year or so?

Don't think you'll get JD if kombucha sits for a year. It'll be vinegar that'll make your nose hairs curl.

I did kombucha for a while. It was interesting how the taste changed with age, from softly sweet to more vinegary. I ended up with fermenting bowls all over every surface in the kitchen.
