Morning all! So much for the mild winter. Woke up to SNOW! lots of it too. They were calling for rain yesterday now they say 3-4 inches of the nasty stuff for our area. I keep reminding myself that it is just February but when the temps are 45-55° it's hard to keep that fact in mind.

Plenty of 'real' coffee on hand as well as decaf. Hot water on the wood stove for tea if you like. As always help yourselves.

I saw a pain specialist when they discovered that I have degenerative disc disease in my neck and the spinal foramen are narrowed along with my spinal canal causing me to have neck, shoulder and sometimes arm pain. All they could offer me was to 'fry' my nerves with RF and hopefully temporarily control the pain. The key words were temporarily as they said the effects lasted from 6 days to 6 months.

Needless to say I ran for the door and never looked back. My family physician agreed with me. I wasn't ready for that. I asked about PT and he agreed that it might help me. I did 8 weeks finally getting accupuncture the latter helped me a lot. I still do the exercises when the neck pain gets too bad and my shoulder is on fire. Wish I could do self accupuncture. Dang I would do it!

I can tell things are progressing because it's getting hard for me to carry my water jugs around. Afterwards my neck and shoulder are burning and I don't sleep well. Thank God for RX pain meds and muscle relaxers is all I can say.

@Baymule that baby is too fricking cute to be legal. I agree what a face. When it's grown you will be able to slap a pony saddle on him and ride him.

So what is he going to be guarding when he grows up?

Morning all. Hey, it's cold here too. 3° when I got up this morning. Cleaned out the fridge, threw everything into a plastic ice cream container, heated it in the microwave and took it out to the birds. Not too bad in the coop. Radiant heat from the sun is helping. Gave them hot water, turned on their heat lamp and left them enjoying their AM brunch.

Do more Brown Liquid Sadness but plenty of decaf tea and regular coffee for anybody needing refills.
He will be guarding sheep. I raise Katahdin hair sheep. I have 2 other Livestock Guard Dogs, one is half Anatolian, the other is 3/4 Anatolian. They have been teaching him pack manners. He’s brilliant smart and is gonna be HUGE.
