Happy Valentines Day all you happy coffee and tea guzzlers.

Talk about a great Valentines Day gift. My husband made extra 'real' coffee and told me to get a mug full. I didn't have to be told twice! Don't know if I'll make a habit out of it. So far so good with my stomach.

Dare I chance it in the morning?

Happy Valentine's Day to all!

Been off-line for over a week as DH & I drove to CA for a family get-together.

Had a day of rain yesterday followed by gropple and snow when the temps dropped at night. The light frosting melted off this morning, but another snow dump of a couple of inches to happen in the dead of night tonight. So no yard work for the next couple of days.
A cozy fire in the fireplace tonight as it's our also our wedding anniversary. Not going out to dinner because experience has taught us that the restaurants this day are noisy, crowded, prix fixe for mass produced food and the service isn't optimal. So it's a couple of rib-eyes w/mushrooms, baked potatoes, saute of shishito peppers, salad, a nice bottle of red (1000 Stories Bourbon Barrel Zin), and a mousse cake for dessert.
