Good morning! Thank you for the coffee!

My second batch of chicks turned 2 weeks old today.

I think i am on batch 6, or 8 if you count the chicks i bought! Had 6 hatched as of last night, but didn't count yet today.

That's a nice coincidence! Not like now, when you can talk a doctor into inducing labor on the date of your choice.
Two of my cousins (brother & sister) were born on my grandparent's birthdays.

I had a C-section and it was planned.

I had my fifth batch hatch yesterday and the day before. 4 chicks total this time, out of 14 eggs. 9 were infertile and one of the chicks died while zipping

Good morning Club. Slept till 9.
Lost bird yesterday white bird my favorite.
Hatched first one this morning of 19 in the incubator.

Did bring coffee going to awful hot 70's here3 today.

Tried sleeping. Had dreams (nightmares?) of chicken genetics. Then got up because I forgot to let the poor chickens out to free range this morning!

Thankfully, only one more shift and then I'm off until Wednesday night again.
