My recipe for the 'natural' herbicide is one gallon of vinegar to one box of salt. Bring it to a boil to dissolve salt, let cool and spray.

I used it once to kill out a bush along with a scrub elm tree that was growing up in the middle of it. Only I poured it on the area while it was still boiling hot.

Be warned. It does kill the problem plants and everything around where you apply it. Plus you will 'sterilize' the soil meaning you cannot plant anything there for a good long time.

@Ladies-Eight sciatica is not fun. Had it once years ago, with pain shooting down my left leg. I can still remember how bad it was. :hugs
