She just got one done today for #1 son who is stopping for the night on his way to FL. I think he may get to stay a day or 2 on his way home and then again he may not. He's serving on some kind of either Federal or Texas grand jury until sometime in December or maybe later into 2024. I don't remember what Ma told me.

No he lives in TX. I was born and grew up in FL. Feel right at home now here in AL just north of the FL state line. My great grandparents moved from this area to FL in the 1800's.

We have finished off 2 fruit cakes this week. Until recently I hated fruit cake. Something ain't right about my picture.

Yes. Wife has her mom's old recipe and it's the only one I like.She's made 4 so far this season. If we can find the pineapple and cherries she'll make a couple more to ship as gifts.
