Let birds out at 8 decided I need a hot shower.

I haven’t let mine out yet. Working up the nerve to put the cold boots on!

We had just over 2" of rain Wed/Thursday but it looks like a relatively dry if overcast spell for the next several days; down to 35F last night but clear, starry sky...so DH barbecued steaks out in the cold, bless him! I finally had my chance to go Christmas shopping and find our tree yesterday without having to juggle an umbrella with everything else. The pullets are out sunning themselves on the straw bale during this little break in the clouds.

On my 2nd cup of coffee, maybe one more before heading out to our animal shelter's annual fundraising/holiday celebration event! So hard not to bring home another pet...

From the size of the wall of rain on the current radar we are going to get some new creeks forming today. There will be some real gully washers today while under a tornado watch.

I'm about done with my tea and finished with my coffee. Our weather says a good healing nap is in order today. It's dark and rainy so that is what the day is useful for. I'll take it.
