Good morning! It is already 95 degrees on my front porch in the shade! I'm drinking iced coffee today!

We are cooler rain did fall enough we do not need to water the garden. Temp is 48 out there.

Good morning! I missed coffee club yesterday. I had chicken wrangling to do before the grandkids came for breakfast. I'm integrating 4 POL pullets and have redneck fence pieces I move around so that day by day they get to explore different parts of the chicken compound. So far the older birds are still swearing and lunging at the fence but I'm hoping eventually it'll be ok. I'm sure there will be fights but I hope not bloody ones.

Good morning! Well last night I was a little late locking up and something got one of my older laying hens. Two piles of feathers and bloody feathers stuck to the wire says raccoon. I have unsecure fencing strung to let them have pasture during the day when I’m home. I should have been on time!
