HollyO, Have a safe trip.

Morning - there is a chill in the air here. Feels great! Going to have to get the "outside" stuff done today -it's supposed to rain the next three days.

It was decided that my daughters rash is just viral, non- contagious. They put her on prednisone and a cream. Since prenisone makes people feel "energized" I'm glad she is at school because this is a child who needs no energy. She is quite hyper on her own.

The cream alone made the rash look much better last night.

Good morning all, Just finished the pot. Wow, some of you are really getting some cold weather. Here in AZ still wearing shorts and flip flops. It is a little cooler in the mornings. We just had another couple of days 115-110. Looking forward to wearing a coat and having a camp fire. I guess I have the best of the seasons. I can still wear shorts in the winter and cover up at night with a quilt.

Everyone have a great day. Got to let my chicks out. I know they are waiting for me.

Here ya go. Remember when you're getting the blues and need a hug, just know that your chickens believe that you are the great goddess of plenty who brings the sustenance and plenty and they couldn't make it without you. (Ok, really they have brains the size of peanuts and probably don't have those thought processes, but the do know seeing you is a "good thing").

I look forward to knowing what's happenin' down south from ya.

It's all good .. yet stressful stuff.

It looks like they may be pouring our garage slab and forms for house piers within the week .. eeek! It's been a LONG time coming. We've had loggers, hydro-axes, stump grinders, builder, electrician, water well people .. etc. running around out on our property.

I'm trying to find a Dr. to take my DD17 to for an Asperger's confirmation. (Sure answers alot of questions about her "quirky" behaviors .. lol)

I finally sat down with her and told her what I suspect .. and she is looking at it also.

My parents are 1200 miles away and both dealing with health issues .. each talking to me about the other DAILY ..

A friend I haven't heard from in about 2 years called me this morning because she had another friend commit suicide and she didn't know who else to call .. at least it took my focus momentarily off myself!

I'm tired of living in the apt with 2 kids, 2 big dogs, and 6 chicks (I didn't really SAY that, did I?) .. Yes, I have my chicks in a brooder IN THE APARTMENT .. I'm most certain we would be on the street if they knew .. lol

WHEW .. That felt GOOD .. just getting off my chest..

Thanks!
