Coffee's ready...

Good Morning, instead of coffee is ready,it's tea is ready for me. We are supposed to get snow tonight, I think the high is 30-something, I'll have to look. Yesterday, it only got up to 27 degrees!

Good morning all. It's sunny - that's the good part - but, when I got up it was 13 degrees out. It has warmed up to 20 - heat wave! I've got to let the chickens out - whatcha bet they don't budge - and fill the wood box. I don't mind the cold so much as long as I don't have to worry about my poultry and frostbitten combs.

Good Morning all. Nippy here this morning, however, Sun is out and it should warm up. Got the big chickens out for the day. Let the Wee ones out of their coop and in to the play area. They were sure hungry this morning. I quit putting feed in the coop at night and they are starving in the morning. I think I am going to change the bulb from a 60watt down to a 40 watt. I am holding 60 degrees inside the coop all night and they act like it is to hot. I am hoping to keep it at least at 40 degrees at night.

I grilled some chicken last night and I am going to make chicken Barley Veg. soup today. That also requires some cornbread to go with it.

haha! Mine is not real coffee either, but some sweet rich coffee-like concoction that satisfies the craving without getting the problems. But I'm going out in the cold to check on the birds in a bit. Brr.

Good Morning! How's everyone? It's Monday and foggy here; so glad I'm not commuting today. Had my faux coffee, soft boiled egg and oatmeal with flax seed, brown sugar & banana. Time to go do chicken chores.

I find the commercial with the family face-off of dueling remotes funny. My cat sleeps on the remote, the keyboard... and if you want some fun, borrow a second remote and hide behind the couch.
Yup, we get bored around here.

Good Morning. It is warmer than it has been for weeks, 22 right now and will be in mid 30's today. Maybe I can actually get some stuff done outside other than the basics.

Morning chicken wranglers
It is 30 and foggy.just enough topsoil thawed to make snot so I had to carry the water by hand insted of the back of the truck. Monday is on.I handed out christmas bonus checks to my guys on sat. and they all have stopped by to tell me that they just forgot to bring in my present but they got it ,they will bring it in later. Do I believe no! do I care,No! I did not give to recieve,but they all must have heavey hearts or maybe they thought since it has been tough this year that I would forget them.Oh well merry Christmas!
