Another rainy day here. With the chickens in molt, and all this rain, they are a funny looking bunch.
Nothing to much is going on here today working in the shop today. Show season starts in a few weeks. We are hoping to get another hike in next week.

MathAce: You should have boots like mine, full of holes. No need to go looking for them. Does wonders for your feet to.

Karl: Thanks for the clarification (and nightmares). You ever find out what was getting your ducks over the summer?

Q I think it was a turtle as you said.I took 5 of the blighters out of the pond since then.One was aboiut a 30 pounder that I gigged while he was stalking a frog.The latest was about a 20 pounder that hit on a jug baited with chicken breast.I don't know about the squish thearapy you seem to be suggesting to math?

Hi folks,

In AL now. Nice to be with the grandkids. It's hard to keep up with things when you don't have your own pc to use.

DD is taking care of the chickens while I'm away and I just tell her to make sure they have food and water. Oh and to collect the eggs.

afternoon all. Rain now. Got a minor job done. a couple of the patio blocks between the run and the fence did not fall properly. finally got them positioned over the hardware cloth. Something had tried digging, I think a chipmunk, It allowed me to topple the block down. Heavy down pour helped settle them.

I wish I had known it is National Coffee Day earlier. Now it's a bit too late for me to drink it, espeically with how hard it was fo rme to fall asleep earlier.

Today is a day I am questioning my fit with this school. At one point I had to keep a kid locked in an isolation room till the school police officer came back. Then his Mother chewed me out - after all, it's all our fault her son went bezerk and trashed the classroom. We do our best to provoke and antagonize all the kids here. NOT.

Sigh....

Gotta go. Paerwork to do, walls to bang my head against....

I think we might be getting sun today. There's something bright lighting up the morning sky. The trees don't have that droopy look to them.

Karl: What do you do with the turtles? I know a group of people that would make all sorts of things out of turtle. Nothing was wasted and the meal was good.
"I don't know about the squish therapy you seem to be suggesting to math?" It's like a rights of passage. Let her discover the enjoyment....... Don't you love it when one boot gets sucked off and you are standing on 1 foot trying to balance yourself..

Q, I could not have found anyone that understands the perills of the muddy pasture better,Oh How Many times have I stood in the pasture trying to keep my sock clean and possesing a hand full of mud from the tumble,diddle diddle dumplin my son john one shoe off and one shoe on,the cows just stareing and not caring.I think the only thing that they find more humorus is when they see me get shocked by the hot wire.
