Morning everyone!

Just sat down to my first cup...forgot to set the timer last night, so I had to wait on it to brew this morning.

When I put my son to bed last night, I cuddled up next to him

and fell asleep myself. Woke up at 6, took the last 2 chicks out of the hatcher and put them in the brooder, and now I'm R-E-L-A-X-I-N-G.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week. It's supposed to warm back up here...it's been quite chilly the past couple of days. With the weather we've had this year, it's been really hard to get chicks raised and acclimated to the outdoors.

The house is Nice and Quiet.
Both kids are at Band camp in the mornings. School here starts Monday the 31st.
Mine are teens so it will be good to have them out of the house ...lol

No reason in particular, just didn't sound appetizing .. is something wrong with me??

Kiddos off to school this morning .. help me pray that my DD17 has a good year and makes some close friends. We moved at the end of the year last year and the kids at her new school haven't accepted her.. kids can be so mean .. she's a nerdy type.

I just keep telling her to remember the mean kids, 'cause she's gonna be their BOSS some day .. *grin*

I'm up, but not coffee, since I hope to eventually get some more sleep. Been catnapping on the sofa between pistol patrols for whatever has killed 12 of my chickens in the past 6 days..
