I brought a pick-me-up for everyone here in the coffee lounge.

Ohhhhhhh great count me in ! Right now I could do with one!

off to my bed though! Very tired tonight The lad has been mighty difficult going this last while. A might on the aggressive side lashing out at folk who are trying to help him. He attacked the bus attendent today while the fellow was trying to strap him in. It is so hard to figure what is going on inside the boys head. On well another day tomorrow. If all else fails I can pop him in his wheelchair and park him in the coffee shop corner and pretend I don't know him!

Good morning chicken wranglers
Oes this is how I should do with mine . Either that or rent them out to the local hide tanners for service of the corporal persuasion .
The oldest and the youngest will not let up on one another. One is hitting the other or one is antagonizing the other at all times coming and going. That is children for me. What they do not realize is that it all irritates me.
Love them anyway.
Gargoyle that looks tantalizing wish I could brew that up for wife , She loves those kind of brews.

Sounds like a battle field in your house Karl - How old are the rug rats now???? I forget?
Danny came home with a big whelt on his back from the adult care centre. So I recon he made the mistake of nipping another client and got a big ole' nip back! We are still hoping for full time residential care for him but so far no news. I wrote to the Social worker a few weeks back and she still has not contacted me - all very frustrating. It would have been nice if she had of acknowledged my Email! That's the thing when you know they opened it up cause you get a note back to say it was "read!" But then they don;t even say thanks for the letter we will review it and get back to you asap? It doesn;t take long to type that sentence and send it back. Oh well no news is good news as they say! Hope you get a bit more peace in your house.
The only thing I can suggest is turn your shed into an underground bunker and pop a cullender on your head and you will be fine!

We all have our crosses to bear and some are much greater than others. I know that many times when I am away from the children I miss them, and regret reprimanding them, but very soon after the reunion, it is as if I was never gone and the irritation begins.
Such is the way of life.

Yeah - I get to thinking things like that too. When my kids are not quite what I would have liked them to be. When they are not following in the way that I would have liked them to. When they won't take good advice and go their own way, only to find they end up in dilema and Mum and Dad are left to pick up the mess. - I think sometimes is that how God feels about us when we do that to him??? I can certainly be a disagreeable daughter too!

Such is life.

Oes, The treasure is in the experience! My 8 year old amazes me, and disappoints me all in the same day. The 14 year old rebels comes around and rebels again. All in a days parenting.
Chickens are so much easier. Feed butcher and eat. Time for me to get the last 7 in the freezer since I 'm thinking about it. I've got a couple pigs in at the butcher shop being prepped also.
Ham mmmmmm. Bacon mmmmm. side meat mmmmm.
