Coffee's ready...

i use free pickles buckets from my aunt and uncles restaurant and my girls love them! i have made nesting boxes, feeders and waterers out of them!

How did you use them for feeders and waterers? You got pics?

A euro is about 1.30 USD, and with the taxes we usually have on stuff (VAT would be 24% on that sort of things), the same bucket would probably be about a buck over there.

Good morning chicken wranglers
I'm up and about ready for another weekend of shortlivedness. Long weekends are a blessing of which there is too little too late and far and be between.
How o how will I ever get it all done and when are the fairies coming to my house to make the boots?
Good luck and
God Bless!

Re: water bucket. I get mine from my local grocery store bakery.

you drill a hole or three in the bottom put in a grommet and a nipple. http://www.teksupply.com/farm/suppl...ering_systems-ts1_hoses_nipples;pgwc1045.html They also have square pipes to set up a line. That's about a 2.5 gal bucket from the bakery.
I have one outside also. It has to high enough so the chickens have to reach up to drink. My little banty has a heck of a time. She builds up the bedding in the coop to reach that one during the day when the others are out.
