A euro is about 1.30 USD, and with the taxes we usually have on stuff (VAT would be 24% on that sort of things), the same bucket would probably be about a buck over there.

Well a buck would be good if it's the five gallon buckets I'm talking about.

Busy day.

I scored some free Concord grapes so I was busy washing and cooking for jelly. Some had to be frozen because there was just to many.

Total was, 63 cups. I have two recipes one calls for 14 cups per batch and one calls for 10 cups. I plan to make three of each recipe. Tomorrow is three batches of the 14 cup recipe.

Good morning chicken wranglers,
Another weekend down with nothing to show for it . Well a clean barn? never lasts ! treated the horses for lice!!! yuck!
Had the vet out to sew the horses eye lid back together, How did he tear it apart? My cow that lost her calf has a major edema next to her over swollen udder that I think is milk leaking into he skin ! I hope that the vet can come out and look at her today! mess mess , mess ! When will I ever learn? Will it get better?

I will get the problems resolved , There are just miles to go before I sleep! To quote a fellow we all know! Onward and up ward into the valley and all that.
Chickens love the new run, ma last that is good . Now we will just have to teach them to go into the coop at night to keep them out of harms way.
