Why would anyone want me to be the treasurer of their organization? After all the Princess took over the checkbook 50+ years ago after I bounced two checks to our landlord. Oh, that's right, it's nobody else gives a double da*n.

Just got the beagle club ledger current - I was derelict 6 months. Ledger, checkbook, and bank all have their own ideas as to our monetary worth. Thankfully they are only off by a couple hundred, and the bank says we have more than I say. Frankly my only qualifications are that I do pay the bills on time, and I am honest.

Rant over.

Well now we've had a number of folks arrested for embezzling in the news of late. Fact is I say there should be TWO names, non related, on the account.

When my DD was in college WE had an account together. She worked part time. This way I could transfer money to her even though we lived miles apart.

Point being we both had internet access to monitor the account. So even though I didn't write checks or have the debit card on the account I could still keep an eye on things. Statements were mailed to me in both our names.

To have just one person on the account is just plain unwise.

In one case we had, the woman took her life. I can't help but wonder if she'd be alive today if the school system involved had used more sense.

Just my two cents,

I wish you well,

Rancher

Afternoon people,
Supper is in the oven and one the stove. Sipping a cup of coffee. We hit a milestone yesterday. The betterhalf and I humped over 14 miles yesterday with medium packs. We saw a bear on the way out doing better then we were.

Enjoy your evening.

Beautiful day here - just got back from a field trial. Rattler and Easy had fairly good runs - apparently not good enough. Next week is another trial.

Congratulations! Rngrbill. It's a good feeling when they are giving back what you put into them. Mine are ready for retirement...... I had to buy eggs today. First time in a long time.

Great looking car hennible

Tell the girls good job, Bill. We still only have one layer at the moment, two have snapped out of the broodiness, but haven't resumed laying yet, and two are still occupying the nests. We've had to cut down on egg eating a lot...
