Afternoon people,
Just stopping in for a quick cup of tea, then back out into the shop.

I've just started drinking hot tea....

It could end up replacing my morning coffee...

Hey there Ace,
Nothing beats the morning coffee, 2 cups for me. After that I switch over to green tea with lemon grass. This time of year I drink it all day long. There's only a few times a year I drink tea in the morning. We even bring the fixens for coffee when we do over nighters in the woods.

Cold snap moved in last night, woke up to 26 degrees this morning. We raised a 36 lbs turkey this year. First time for turkeys with us.

Burrrrrr 26 Degrees! Burrrr, Glad it is not me

IT was WINDY today, but not so bad that I could not spend the day outside working on building a chicken tractor. I don't know what our forecast is, but the weather has been so very mild so far.

Oes I am so sorry to hear of your dilemma, we have been going through the mill ourselves.
Wife's father passed a month ago and she had a very hard time with it. Now she is executor of the estate and has not had time to grieve properly in my estimation.
I hope all goes for improvement soon. I will keep your family in my prayers O.

Rngrbilll, I was out your way this past week. You can't beat your gas prices $3.36/gal.

Karl: I know what you mean about going through the mill Karl. My better half (wife) grandmother past away in August. Prior to the passing, I was her POA, with her passing I am her executor now. There is one family member who is holding up the will.

Rngr, we went to talk to an attorney about the progression steps. All he wanted was mo money so now we are back to square one.
I do not think that the family members will get too objectionable but it could get murky.
I shot a deer last night now I am not too far from the real work.( grinding ,sausage all that stuff you know.) This was no trophy but good meat!
My boy wife and I were out setting trail cam's and when we came out of the woods there were 2 standing then running and when one stopped I had her #. My wife closed her eyes and asked, "what is it doing now?" To which I replied "dying". She did not laugh and still thinks the experience was a horror.

$3.29 here this morning, then I drove into Chicago and it's $3.69 there. Thirty miles makes a big difference (different counties, different tax zones)

3.02 a gallon here but diesel is still hovering at 4.00 .
