Before - sure that it is significantly higher after the visit. Actually my dentist is a pretty cool guy. So far I've only bitten him once and hit him once - purely reflex actions. He has done several root canals on badly abscessed teeth with minimal pain. He is the Prince of Pain Reduction.

End of the week is here...... The ladies are stopping over tomorrow for supper. I was thinking of 'ole Fred Flintstone's meal. Everyone remember that or am I really showing my age. Remember at the drive in, what he would get? Tilt his car over....... Picking up some more butternut squashes to go along with it.

I think the cat teeth were chattering this morning.

Blood moon this am, could anyone see it. We were blocked out by our trees in the west.

My SIL mentioned it. He was on the lake fishing at the time. He's big into fishing.

Getting a late start on a damp and dreary day here in NJ. It's a good coffee day for sure.

Frost on the pumpkin n SE Iowa this morning, but a sunny beautiful autumn day in store. I noted a 35 deg. F inside the coop this morning. I think maybe I have a little too much ventilation for what's to come.

Cool but still warm enough to open up coops in my bathrobe.

I need to accomplish something today. I'd need to accomplish 20 things to make up for lost day.

Just can't shake the blahs.

the trifecta of yukiness talk about late starts. Set up light in coop yesterday to come on at 5 am. It was on when we got home at 8pm last night

need to reset that timer. maybe it was just on the on setting and I didn't notice. girls probably not happy with me.

A beauty of a day here - clear, cool and autumnal. The Princess is taking me out for breakfast.

Good morning people,
Cool morning here, the house is cleared of kids........nice, peaceful and quite.

I have been starting a morning fire this weekend and today, taking the morning chill off. These early season burns, I use the wood scraps from the shop. Only a matter of time now until it burns 24/7. The furnace is still off.

I can't believe I am still picking string beans. There have been threats of frost the last couple of days, but nothing here.
