Good Morning Chicken Wranglers,
Felix, Ghost is big and Getting bigger , he will be like his momma the biggest cow is the biggest cow in the pasture. All the cattle are looking ragged from the winter. Mud and snow makes them look all ruff and crumby. Even the horses have rugged coats and soon they will shed so they will look even worse.
Chickens are laying away production is back up with the longer daylight hours. I spent a couple hours fixing holes in the run and taking care of the coop. They will thrive with the new weather,

Karl, do you have a pic of Ghost? It would be nice to see.

I'm glad to hear things are well there. We are having a bit of a cloudy and windy day today, but the sun should make an appearance tomorrow again.

Rancher, I forgot to say that I usually just steam the beans before adding the fried bacon or the mustard and mayo.

We managed to eat everything we grew, but if I have any extra this year, I might freeze them.

Neither of those recipes are vegan friendly though, vegans for some reason tend to frown upon bacon, and mayo is a bit of an issue too due to the egg in it. But to half a pound of beans I'd just add maybe 3-4 ounces of bacon bits fried crispy, or about one or two table spoons of mayo and a teaspoon of Dijon mustard.

I don't particularly like beans so I asked for me. I'm always looking for new ways to cook things I don't like. Since most are good for me.

Weather is warming up and coop cleaning is about to begin. DW had appointments all day. One we waited nearly an hour. We were not happy.

Oh, sorry Bill, yeah, green beans. That's my favorite. I like canned beans in some things too, but green beans is the only thing we're eating from our garden.

Good morning! It's going to be beautiful here in Arkansas today. The ducklings moved into the bathtub last night (wow, they are messy), the final stage before they get to go outside during the day.

I love them but I can't wait. My 9 year old exclaimed that the bathroom smells worse than he does.

Ducks are super cute, but I've read enough about how messy they are to know that bunnies and chickens are enough for us.
