Coffee's ready...

Good morning chicken wranglers,
I'd like to let you all know that I heard from the Oes ,She is experiencing some difficulties and we should keep her I our prayers.
One of my chickens was sent to meet her maker by a foul coon. The young'uns did not go out to close the coop night aforn last and the varmint snuck in there and killed her.
On the way to work I saw one of those foul critters a runnin down the road I should have run him over but I could not bring myself to cross the lane .What a pour example of a man I am today.

God Bless!

Morning people,
I hope this finds everyone doing well. Old man winter is still thrashing about here for the next couple of days. Temps dropping to the teens for a few nights.

No planting yet here Karl. The raised beds still have snow on them. I wonder how the garlic is doing, I am going to have to wait and see I guess. I am going to be starting some plants in the house soon. Last year, I had them starting in the shed.

@KARL - no coon hunters your way? We have a opossum raiding the bird feed that's on the ground.

Enjoy your day
Kaj

No, Karl, not 'a poor excuse of a man' - just common sense.

Karl, Cross the line and sure enough there would be a bubble gum machine ready to pull you over and break out the breathalyzer. Give my best to OES. I have her on my prayer list.

We are not out of the woods yet. Have to replant my Tomatoes while I harden them off. Still some below freezing nights coming. Also the River has to get back in side it's bed.

By my Daughters street. Ohio River is about 1/4 mile to the left. We are all high and relatively dry.

Good morning chicken wranglers,
We are going into spring for sure! Mud up to my knees in the pasture. The cattle are wading in it ,of course they keep it soupy because of their constant milling around in it,. Time to move them, more work for me.
As always I wonder if it will ever cease. Well have a good day all!
God Bless!
