Coffee's ready...

It is sad that families relocate, but seems to be thee order of the day, I'm in Il. but have siblings all over , we all got together at once for the first time in years . Sadly it was for Dads funeral but good to see them all anyway.
My grandchildren are all from one daughter and she lives close, my other children have not married or are too young so we have yet to see what will happen with that.
God Bless!
Well tell them to stay away from NYS. Lord have mercy young people are jumping ship like roaches from a burning building.

Good morning chicken wranglers,
Rancher I will do my best to keep them around me , but life and events being what they are , who is to say.
I have only chicks now the coyotes got my last 11 chickens well over a year ago. Last year was so busy that I had no time for brooding any chicks .This year I hope to take time to train the horses, garden and live life . My horses are now 2 years old and they are pretty rough but they will break. Annhow have to run .
God Bless!

I'm back. have had some serious health problems. They think it is diabetic neuropathy. I can't stand and have difficulty walking. Then I am having respiratory problems that keeps me tired out. Haven't been out to the chickens in weeks. Thank god for the DW.

Karl, sorry to hear about your Dad. my youngest daughter is in FL moving to NC. My eldest is here in Louisville. She made the mistake of saying if we wanted her to take of us in our old age we needed to live no more than 20 minutes from her. 18 ain't bad. She just adopted the 2 little girls she has been fostering for the past 3 years.

The chickens are doing well 0 - 6 eggs per day for the 8 of them one of which is a banty my BO is imitating a rooster these last couple of week. I would worry if she hasn't given us eggs in the past.

Glad to here all is well with the rest of you. Anyone hear anything from our Irish cuz Oes. She is still on my prayer list.

as the kids would say TTFN

Sorry to hear your health troubles Ranger. Put you on my monitor. Stick folks names up there so I remember to pray for them. Miracles can happen.

Havent' heard from OES but have her address so may send her a card.

News, Frenchy hatched out three chicks. Not bad seeing as she's over 8 yrs old.

Planted six towers of taters this year. Five different kinds. Once read if the Irish has planted a variety they would have done better with the blight. Being Irish myself some, I've learned from their lesson to not plant just one variety of anything.

Weather has gotten warmer and more is getting done. Though not as much as I would like.

Can't talk politics so I won't but DD and her boyfriend went to a Trump rally today. Make no assumptions on my part.

The Marsh daisies are gone, I miss them somewhat but can't keep so many. Tired of trudging through the mud. Plus needing someone to take care of them while we're away.

Our flights are booked for Alaska, so I've been watching DVD's about there.

Well you all take care of yourselves.

TTFN,

Rancher, to much to do, Hicks.

Rancher, if you go to De Nali, consider a trip to Jeff King's kennels. If you are interested in dogs it is well worth the visit.

My son says you can see De Nali from the house. Have added Jeff King's kennels to our list of things to see.
