Coffee's ready...

[Opa]

The coop I have pictured on my page is 8'x8'3" and I have currently added an additional 6' on to it that will be my work/storage area. I'll update the picture as soon as it's completed. I need to add additional pictures that show my bantam flock coop and my tractor. I'm still trying to figure out how come I have all of this when my initial plan was to have 3 or 4 laying hens.

Due to my having a deep voice and a slight resemblance to Sam Elliott my SO suggested using it and I keep changing the avatar to include even using my own face on occasion. The reaction to the avatar resulted in the creation of two threads, Opa's avatar and Castle BYC, through which I have been allowed to meet some very dear people from all over the world. I talk regularly with many of them and feel fortunate to have gained so many new friends.

just got back from short trip to see a customer and now I have to check in on my fav. thread. I'll have to check out the picks of the coop opa and see how a I can improve my own plans to increase my area. Right now I store my feed in garbage cans outside the coop.
