Congradulations Oesdog! May the crys of your grandchild be the melody of joy you'll ever savor.
Wispering winds I know your pain. I am just south of Peoria and it has been hot.I too must lay a water line and get electric out to the barn befor winter,but it will not happen.
I am thinking of making a water cart out of a 55 gallon drum to pull with the quad. so I dont have to carruy so many buckets.
Rancher covering the run sounds like a good idea but too much work for me.Winter? Lets not and say we did!

Oh sure pick on the old geezer. Enjoy the grand baby. If ya need clothes my DD has loads. Lord have mercy they're everywhere. I'm dogeared to be the sitter when she goes back to work. I don't climb stairs so I said she better make sure there are plenty of nappies downstairs or she'll come home to a baby with a bare bum.

Ha - Oesdog - is dogeared into baby minding too - only our daughter is back to teacher training and her partner to studies also. As I said Jessica was not planned and made an apperance a few years earlier than intended so Dot needs to finish her digree in teaching. We have loads of stuff too the place is comming down with it all. I can;t remember us ever having all this stuff when we had our kids and I had 4 under 3 and a half - cheated and had twins! Take care OLD GEEZER - of course I am the young glamerous granny! -

1st off, Congratulations oesdog. May this be the fist of many more.

Coffees hot and thinking of a American cheese omelet with dried crush red peppers.............. How does everyone drinks their coffee? Just a bit of milk in mine.

Morning all,

I had to wake super early as I worked WAY late last night, and the stepkid shut the chickens up which he has never done before.

So my young girl peahen is shut in with the guineas instead of her normal spot, so I have to go herd her into pen before the guineas wake and try to run the poor dear out. Just waiting for a wee bit more light to see by.

And I have to corral my dorky dogs before daybreak. lol Ah the farm life.

Wouldnt have it any other way.
