Happy Halloween!!!

It's rainy and wet here, and we are supposed to be having an Octoberfest party at the church. With the outreach they do, and it's location downtown, the party is usually more of a 'feed the poor and homeless' party, which is fine. Just hope we don't all get rained on. At least it was a nice dreary morning to bake brownies for the even, and now I think I'll make some bannana bread. Gotta get the sauerkraut into the crock-pot, too. Then on too more Halloween revelry. I found a great costume for myself at the thrift store, too, so I'll be dressed as a she-devil later. Perhaps a picture of that will follow......

Wow lovely pics. Nice to see all the fun! The pumpkin is great! We are making banana bread too DH is really good at that its very

We don't cellibrate Halloween for religious reasons in our house but I just love to see you all having fun and dressing up. Our Grandaughter went to her nursery party dressed as a fairy so she could join in. Danny made fluffy cats at his adult centre so everyone is supportive of our views and they go out of their way to do stuff with the kids that help them to have fun too. We do get sweets and nice stuff for the neighbors kids when they call - our kids don't and never did do it. We always did something different. Of course our kids are all grown and make their own choices now. Our Brain Injured son always comes to us to get sorted for his costume and last year he went as a Mummy and the year before a medic - with blood and yuck of course! We try to avaoid issues and do our best to let the others have free choice.
DD had baby jess dressed as a Cat and a pumpkin last year and this year she is a fairy and a spanish dancer so she is all set to have fun . As for our big Pumpkin its getting turned into soup and pumpkin pie!
