Sissy - I bring mine into the kitchen and show them the oven! - And the left over Sunday roast!

Well its raining here and the weather is set to get colder and more wet by the end of the day. DH is on a hunting gathering trip! He is away to the supper market!

While I am tending the flock ( Stuck here with the Hens and Danny! His adult centre is off for Halloween) So I am doing a quick house clean

So putting it off as long as possible of course and thinking maybe a coffee will kill more time! Less time for cleaning the old nest before - "big chief roo" gets back with the -

Good morning chicken wranglers
Oesdog she is quite the princess,I wonder if she has anyone wrapped around her finger?We had the grandchildren this weekend,DD was over for the party and at the end of the night she wanted to go stay with her old friend from school,so ,I was the best dad in the world again as she asked for privilage.How well do I remember the day,I was the good dad when she needed a favor.I wonder if that play will ever turn about.
I asked the dear wife if she was just goin to nicoles so they could sneak out after her husband fell asleep.That was the old highschool agenda,stay at nicoles wait until nicoles dad fell asleep sneak out run around town until dawn.Glad she is married and these things are not my concern any longer.
Anyway the kids were especially good and we may keep them again now that no diaper are involved.
We tied a calf out in the front yard befor the wiener roast and all the kids loved it,several thought it was a pony,city kids you know.Our camping trailer was still in the front yard from when we had the asphalt drive done,I told deb to tell the guests that that is where we keep it ,because we love to camp we just hate to travel.With that and the calf tied out I am sure we looked like real hill billies,That being said I must go.

karl,. DD had troubles with her boat this spring. Motor kept dieing on her. after trying one of the fixes that included a gas change and additive they took the boat to the launch and just ran the motor for a while still on the trailer. The problemn mostly manifested itself when the engine was cold. So they would start, let run, stop and sit for a while. DD decided that if anyone asked what they were doing she would tell them that was all they could afford with the gas prices.

All: with all the snow we got 5 eggs for the first time yesterday

Rmgr I see and hope that you are one of the fortunate ones in the storm!At least you seem to have power,If you ability to post is any indication.
I think it is going top obe around 70 here today so in a few days you will be thawing out as the weather moves west.
Sissy *I havent had an egg in 3 weeks I'm about to go butcher everything and start over in the spring.
Oesdog does it snow in the Emerald territories?
This nice weather we are having here makes me leary of what the winter will hold for us,nov 1st and 70 is a little unusual.Well see youall later,

Karl - Yes it does snow here

It is warm today for a change though so no snow as yet.
Just had a care review for one of the lads. They are increasing his care hours to 20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yuppie!!!!
The other lad who is very disabled - well we have funds but can;t get the right sort of overnight care at the moment. So we will have to get trying to fight for that too.

I was up again at just gone 2am to change an entire child and all the bedding! - Can;t keep doing it every night. The GP is going to try to give us something to bomb him out with so I see her Thursday? I think a large acre plot with a coop at the far end would be great progress!!!

- very tired need coffee - actually want to cry because we need to think full time residential care plan but he's my baby. Can;t cope so away for coffee. Have a good day folks.
