Yes I was thinking that and got hold of some mods - I don;t have an Email but as she has not posted on this new site one of the Mods said she would still be on the old system and should have gotten notification of the PMs I sent to her. I also sent my personal Email address just incase she was having bother signing into the new site so I could try to help her. But I haven;t heard anything back. I am begining to worry about her. I said to the Mods she isn;t the kind of person to just up and disappear either. So something isn;t right.

Oesdog I hope all is well with sissy , but here have been times whwen she went mia for a few weeks befor. I know her husband has some health issues.Let us all pray he is fine and she will come back aboard soon.
How are all ya'll?I have to say that I did like the old reply system because you could read the recent post and gather ifo for your present post without getting sujects and names confused.My old memory is not what it used to be.this is quoite the tool bar on top thiugh isn't it ?I will never learn to use it.Haven't the time Well catch ya'll later God Bless!

We've got 2 ( 1 for each floor) "Fireplace Extrodinaire". I find them safe and practical. They can really heat up a large area and the fire is behind glass so you can feel safe going to sleep with it on. They have catalytic converters that scrub the exhaust. Our big one will heat 2000 sf for 10 hours on 1 load of logs after it has gotten started. It's economical with the wood too.

Clearly, this needs more looking into.... Heats 2000 sf.... OMG, the one I have now doesn't even heat 200 sf!

Chics in the sun . . . I with you on the Florida Fireplaces being almost as useless as a sceen door on a submarine hatch!

Good morning People,
Feels like spring is here, upper 30's for the next couple of days, to mid 40's by this weekend. I am wondering if we had our "deep" freeze last week. Temps dipped down to the single digits for a few days.

I haven't heard nor seen sissy in a while, but that is nothing unusual. As Karl says, her husband isn't well.

Chicks - How did the little man make out at the dentist? They are the only type of medical profession I don't like. I hate having people stick their fingers and metal objects in my mouth.

Good Morning folks! It is raining this morning.... I LOVE the rain BUT

I really wanted to work in my garden this morning!

I would of been delighted for an afternoon rain.... Oh Well, maybe it will quit raining in a couple of hours and I will still have a chance to get some gardening done!

I pulled some beets and carrots out of my garden a couple of days ago. I roasted them in the oven and they were totally DELICIOUS!

Well at least my girls are safe. for now. Got my neighbor who camplained to sign a petition to allow me to keep them. They only inquired about the law and their concerns that they would be managed properly. Seem the crows are taking eggshells out of my compost, that I just dump in the garden this time of year, and dropping them in their back yard. (Yea!!!! for the crows), For those who don't know the story I did do due dillegence, checking with city hall and councilor to find out if I needed a permit last summer before getting my birds. I was told no only now to be cited in violation and having to pay $311,00 to apply for the varience. As soon as this is done I am working to change the law.

Yep! They are GREAT! 2 drawbacks: 1) you cannot roast marshmellow - it needs to be closed. 2) We have a friend who got 1 on our reccoemndation but had it installed by the proffesional who sold it to him. They did not install correctly but we only discovered it AFTER all was installed & wall was sealed. We cannot prove it without opening up wall which he is not wanting to do and the pro will not fix problem. READ the instructions and WATCH them while holding the instructions if you don't do it yourself. The feed 7 outlet air tubes need to be done a specific way. I'm not sure you can give some one a link that tells about something unless the link goes right back to BYC. If the link is taken out, PM me and I will send it to you under separate cover.

BTW MathAce, I went to J.U. It is my understanding that it usually rains in Jax - at least 1 heavy per day as I recall - but that was many many moons ago.
