Just reading back. Not sure I like this new set up everytime i click on the link in the notification it takes me to page one. But I do luv Rocky Road IceCream!

I don;t like a lot of stuff on the new site either. It is kind of hard to get a grip of. There are things I don;t get at all like smilies??? Why the massive square of Smilies all over your writting so you can;t see what your doing??? Then if you want more than one Smilie you have to either go back in to the massive square monster. Maybe you have to open it up once and grab as many as you can then try to figure where you wanted them once the square is closed again. Though I do believe it closes on its own when you don;t want it to because your not finished yet!!!! I so liked them in a neat little box at the top? I gave up on the Pics and dileted my Album as the only way I managed to get pics on the posts was direct from my own PC. I guess it will take time to get my head round the new coop! I think notifications if you look at them there is a bit at the start then who posted and then a bit at the end. I think if you press the bit at the start it takes you to the begining of the thread. If you press the bit in the middle it takes you to the profile of the person who posted but if you press the end bit then you get the end of the thread. That I have discovered after much frustration. At the same time I discovered this I realised that the post actually came up on my screen in the notification box anyhow so I didn;t have to open BYC to read it at all - not very private and what is the point in opening the site at all if you can already see the message????

It took me agess to discover the edit button was a darn pencil! I was off my head trying to figure where that went. I still can't figure how to change a thread tital - I mean if you spelled it wrong or something int he old site you could go to edit and change it but this site only lets you change the content not the title? Very odd indeed. Anyhow everytime I have asked about these things I end up getting more confussed or posting to "the wrong people" or the "wrong thread" - appart from a really helpful lovely Mod that has calmed my prickled feathers, I would be throwing eggs in this coop!!!!!!!! Oh and Iwas told of a new thread to sort a deal of issues - but they wanted you to copy the URL and/or the evidence of you dilema - by the time I figured what a URL was I had long since passed "the moment" ! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Feathers flying here!!!!!!

One thing that helps- if you just double click a smilie it pops into your post and that big box closes. Then you can grab the smilie and drag it around

to wherever you want it.

Morning People,
Rain, rain, and more rain here.
I hope this finds everyone doing well and enjoy this January. We are heading out to the mountains tomorrow for a bush wack. I hope we don't encounter to many stream crossing. Our little rat and her entourage is coming tomorrow evening till Monday. We might get a game night going Sunday. She found the "Adirondack Michigan Sauce" for hotdog. So....... Sunday supper. She found a place up there that makes some really good "Garlic Pickles". So I put a order in for a few jars.

I still can't figure how to change a thread tital - I mean if you spelled it wrong or something int he old site you could go to edit and change it but this site only lets you change the content not the title?

Go to the thread you want to edit
Go to the first comment
Right under the title you'll see 5 "links"
Click on the last one "Edit Thread"
Make changes to the title
Click submit.

Off to work I go, high hoe...........

Good morning! I'm in a training that is just not keeping my attention on this rainy Friday morning. I'm having my third swap tomorrow. I have a lot of vendors coming, and Now I'm worrying about how many people will come to buy. We should have a beautiful day for a swap, and I'm really excited. But thinking about all I need to do before everyone gets here is making it even harder to sit here.
