Cold weather coming

Since they are saying l6 degrees on Thursday, was wondering what I should do. My coup is 4x5 made of wood with a metal roof. Its vented at the top. I do have a red 40 watt bulb I can turn on for them and I have added extra straw in the bottom. I have a warmed waterer in the run. This is my first winter with the girls and just want to keep them happy.

Minimize the venting when really cold, 16 degrees is not total devastation but chilly just the same. Put a larger light bulb into a metal container like a bucket and it will provide added heat. Metal bucket will prevent accidents like fire. when temperatures rise, then turn extra light off. STAY WARM
