Why does the Purple Peacock have BLACK pants?
It says.... "Male Purple....split to Black Shoulder"
Split BS = 1 BS gene.
According to him, this peacock has in its genome 1 BS gene.
To show the color you need two genes...here two BS genes for the complete BS pattern!
This '1 gene' in his genome would be the cause of his ½ BS pattern!
2 genes = complete pattern.
1 gene = ½ pattern .... it's mathematical!
