Color pattern on muscovy?

My 9 week old Muscovy has a color pattern i haven't seen before especially on any of my others. on it's chest or under belly it's like a small checker board of blk and brown, i hope you can see it and give me an idea of what it is called, thanks

I know it's just a plain ole muscovy nothing fancy like the lavenders but I haven't seen this pattern before even on here.

I have no idea what it is called, but I have one that looks just like yours!
I also have a bunch of blue muscovies that have that same color pattern on their chest.
I'm curious to see what others say!

If he was a dog, we'd call him brindle.

I sure haven't seen black and brown together but the pattern looks like a ripple.

It's a wild-type pattern, he will molt it out as he grows and will become solid black in those spots that look almost like fish scales

Some of my Blues come in with this pattern on their chest, my mother thinks it's great how they look like fish scales.

I have on that looks very similar to him.

Lydia they are 4.5 - 5 months old

Thanks ruffled, so they were probably 3 months when that picture was taken? all girls it looks like? very pretty I might add.
