I bought one years ago because it was a good deal. Husband doesn't know I have eggs coming the same week as chicks & ducklings.

It is usually recommended not to feed chicks/pullets layer feed until they start laying but maybe you are feeding All Flock or something?

Yep an all flock.

Wendell- glad you got nine, wish you had more to work with though. Hopefully one of the boys has Abe's looks and a good personality.

Only a week left before ChickenFest. Lots to do still.

I will have some waterers for sale. I bought them a year ago and didn't like them. They are new.

The porta potty cost $125.......

I think I will remove the heat lamp from the older turkey poults. They are now fully feathered except for their head, which won't have feathers anyway. They are smart enough to go under the coop when it starts raining., so that's a good sign.

The new poults and the dom babies are getting along great. I think the poults just like to be them. The dom chicks climb all over them and they don't care. Funny to watch.
